Edit PDFs locally in your browser.
Fix a line, add a note or place a signature without sending your PDF to an online conversion server. Fire PDF opens document files on your device and provides a page workspace for reviewing your changes before download.
Edit an existing PDF
- Open the file. Launch the web editor, choose Open PDF and select your document.
- Select the content. Choose Edit → Edit existing text, then select a detected text run. Review the text and placement before applying your change.
- Review and download. Check the edited page and choose File → Download PDF. Keep your original file until you have checked the downloaded copy.
Add content and signatures
Use Add text for new labels, Add image for artwork, or Typed signature and Upload signature image for a visible signature. You can also add rectangle markup and use the page tools to rotate, crop or reorder pages. A visible typed or image signature is different from a certificate-backed digital signature.
Scanned PDFs need a different approach
If the page contains a photograph rather than selectable text, an existing text run may not be available. Use Hindi or English OCR to extract readable text, or add a new text item where appropriate. OCR is not a guarantee that a scanned page can be edited like a Word document.
Local processing and offline use
Your opened PDF is processed in the browser and is not uploaded to Fire PDF. Loading the editor and its libraries initially requires internet. Downloading OCR language data also requires a connection. For a more dependable offline workflow, use the Desktop app.
Anonymous website usage measurement is separate from file processing; see the privacy details. Use the editor on a trusted device and check your final file before sharing it.
